Obinna Makata is a Nigerian artist and sculptor. He holds a Sculpture Degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and currently works in Lagos as a full time studio artist. Makata is mostly known for his collage works using African fabric, a style he calls ‘’African Test Style’’. After noticing the scraps a tailor left behind in the trash, Makata started using textile in most of his works on canvas and papers.

Segun Aiyesun was born in Benin City, Nigeria in 1971. He graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, IIe-Ife, Nigeria in 1995. Segun is a totally self-taught artist and has been at it professionally since 1996. He is resident in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

He invented ADIITU (mystery) conceptual art form which combines installations, paintings and poetry. ADIITU is a four-dimensional art that is informed by Yoruba mythology, fantasy and the working of the supernatural.

Babalola Lawson hails from Ekiti State Nigeria. He has no formal education as an artist but draws his imagery from Yoruba two-dimensional decorative patterns. He worked as an apprentice with renowned names to sharpen his skill.

Johnson Uwadima was born in Kaduna state, Nigeria but lived most of his life in Porthacourt where he did most of his magnificent works. His works significantly feature an exciting tessellation hue and multiple textures as he is inspired by environment and interest in humanity.
IBRAHIM KHATTAB
Ibrahim Khattab was born in 1984 in Egypt. He went on to earned a Master’s Degree in Painting in 2013 and a PhD in calligraphy from the University of Cairo Egypt. He developed passion towards Arabic calligraphy which has been a significant element in his work.
